      Thanks for the thought. I have done all kinds of downloads from 8 up to the current 9.10 and am always shut out . i try to manually go into the support folder to try to install from there and no luck. It stops there and will go no further on its own and i can not install one at a time either. starting from just the installer to that plus manager etc. at least 30 tries and with total removal in safe and whatever cleaners,,sweepers removers to no avail. It seems to be removed but will not reinstall now. either a missing dll MOM problem or a side by side which means there is really something there though nothing shows up. I am beyond my scope and would reinstall everytihing since it is only a few weeks old but i read a post where someone tried that only to encounter exactly the same issue and it is amazing just how much can get accumulated in only 2 or 3 weeks I would rather not have to re install if avoidable...

      I am just trying to use dc again to get the Catalyst control center/manager going and the new 9.10 driver in. i think there is only the system default driver for 4800series from the win7 install disc. It is making me a little nuts and i start close to the edge. I have long down times from the net unless i connect at the same time with the laptop and i am too tired to figure all that out now.
