Spike. The code for the AMD Mobility 1.2.1.0 Modder is not error checking INF file-name changes by AMD in the 12-6-legacy_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc_whql package. For instance, the display driver INF unpacks as C7145534.inf but the code looks for something like C7_145534.inf

The problem exists in the beta release too.

I manually changed the filenames to include the underscore and the modder then modded. Otherwise, this is why people are reporting it would terminate in 0 seconds "successfully" and no modifications applied. (Still having no joy getting the CCC process to stay running however, guess I need to massage HD4670 values somewhere in the device definition records yet.)

Please observe my message in the DriverCleaner.net/support forum. Forgive me for I am a newbie to forums and I thought I posted it in the correct place but it turns out at least I now believe it should be posted in the platinum support.

Hi... Thought you could might help me manual mod my ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570,
as the mobility modder doesn't support. My OS is vista 32 bit... And I am without display drivers at the moment as Packard Bell's drivers doesn't work...

I purchased driver cleaner.net a few months back and I still have my key code. The problem is my HD died and I have no downloaded version to reinstall. I tried to go to the DL section but there is a pay only link.

I need to get my system back to to speed asap, so could I get a DL link please?

Thanks for a great program. I would like to add that I really think you should have a active DL link in the DL section for users who have already paid for the program and have there key codes. The need for driver cleaner can pop up at any time day or night and I'm really bad about backing up stuff just like most people I know. The only reason I didn't lose my key code was that I printed two copies of it out and stuffed them away in my room.

I guess I'm just trying to say is that its a hassle to have to email and wait to DL another copy of the program. All other apps I have purchased online always have active DL links to DL the program again if lost. (still need key code of corse).

can i use mobility modder with ati catalyst 9.4 for vista using the files given by u in a post(possible fix.........) my os is vista 32bit and have ati x1400 graphic card
