you did what???????? 4870 and 260 GTX are not the same... 260 GTX = nVidia, 4870 = ATI/AMD what makes you think that 4890 will work for you if...
as said by my friend Old B... TDRs and VPU recoveries are now handled by VISTA... I'm not saying that drivers can't be the issue... and i'm glad...

Danielg922, have you tried something else beside looking at the graphics? it could be a bad RAM stick... or maybe a faulty Motherboard... you...

Do u have the CD that came with the monitor? i'm sure u need to install the proper drivers, and maybe there is a software that can sync the gfx...
sure... anyway - i had lots of crashes when i had a 280W PSU... i've tried many things to stop these crashes... the only thing that really helped...
no more TDRs or crashes here since i've changed my PSU to 450W... and working with the DNA 8.11... as u can see in my specs... i 2 have HD...
