personally, i didn’t seem to have issues with most of P5Q-D's BIOS files that i've been using, but it could be that because i've been using Q9300....

as far as i know, the following bios versions, 1003 (this one had been removed from asus servers at after it was on the site for users to download...
EP45-UD3R has a very good ability in overclocking RAM, it is not maxed out in its ability to overclocking RAM yet.
i just didn't want to push too...
what was the room temperature where the computer is located?

it's not a bad idea to image your Windows partition before installing the drivers or any hardware device drivers if you have problem with Windows...
too bad if all copper would get dirty very easy.

this Gigabye board doesn't seem to want to give up easily in overclocking RAM

actually, 625x6, 600x7.5 on air, but, it's for max screenshot only.
i have another RAM kit on a system my kid is using at different...
DPC latency spikes are still here, but never that much higher nor never too high at all the time.
as for the hows the vdroop on the board?
EP45-UD3R also works pretty good in overclocking RAM.
here's a result of my G.Skill F2-8500CL5 HK 2GB kit, DDR2-1400+ with a not too high vdimm...
Everest results on some of medium FSB + high RAM clock overclocking.
