Players frustrated with the Friday The 13th: The Game‘s stability and performance issues with the servers will be pleased to know that Gun Media have listened, and in a forum post last night, have confirmed that they will be moving towards a solution in April for PlayStation 4 and XBox One users.

A quick recap: In October 2017, developer IllFonic and publisher Gun Media announced that they would be upgrading the game to a newer version of the Unreal Engine. The results of the upgrade would allow for dedicated servers for consoles, as well as improve things such as physics, performance and provide “[f]ixes for long standing issues that will be automatically resolved by moving to the new engine version”.
