Following the announcement of support coming from major video game developers that use Unreal Engine, Nintendo Switch is continuously gaining a boost as its release date nears. And just recently, a representative from a gaming company, which has yet to create video games on the Nintendo platform, promises that they will be creating many games for Nintendo Switch.

With the forthcoming release of Nintendo Switch this coming March 2017, expect tons of video games to become available on this up-and-coming hybrid gaming console. More importantly, game developers which have focused on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will have a third console to look forward to, Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo had very little hope of doing much better than what small amount of their current IP without being able to at LEAST adopt some of the newer engines since game developers simply don't have the time/resources to create their own complex engines... it's all being licensed now.

Still.... as we understand the current ARM based device using essentially "android" OS.... it's not surprising.... in fact they should be heavily focused on Vulkan API... since it's basically a nintendo stamped Nvidia Shield device.
