Sony revealed the PS4 at an event in New York last month and it managed to impress a lot of industry people. Linus Blomberg, CTO and Co-founder of Avalanche Studios, is one of them.

It'll take the commonly sold... highest production machines approximately 4-5 years to reach levels comparible to that of it..

Considering we already have ultra low end laptops screaming with 4GB of ddr3 and at LEAST a dual core cpu.

I think Multi Core Cpus are going to start making headway and we'll start to see tri/quad core cpus falling into a common low end laptops.... most likely via AMD's efforts.

Intel on the other hand.... doesn't appear to really give a shit atm. I'd really like to see a fair Quad core netbook with amazing power and good battery life to.
