I don't have that hotfix installed and never had this memory leak with KX installed... Some of my systems have played music for several days at a time. And yes, I said systems... as in more than one. None of them match hardware wise but most are AMD based with a few Intel machines added to the mix. (none of the Intel systems are running 64bit though) @ jaromanda... Thanks for the link to the hotfix!
Im running XP X64. If its not the drivers I can't figure out what else it could be. This problem only showed up when I removed the Creative drivers and swapped to Kx drivers. Creative doesn't support proper 5.1 surround in an XP x64 environment. PS its not my players fault because I have used 4 different players and they all cause the same problem.
Îòâåò: 3551 bugs I can confirm this. (And btw there is no SoundFont playback). Unfortunatelly, microsoft limited PAE memory in 32 bit systems, so it is good idea to improve KX midi playback for full 64 bit support. Motherboard audio has no real-time midi synth. PS: Sorry, not sure about "3551", maybe wrong thread, i used driver "kX 10k2 Audio (3550) - Generic SYSTEM", "3550"?
Microphone is installed, but will not register or be usable on Windows 7. Sound card is the Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! CT4780
Has anybody had a problem with needing to reinstall drivers everytime the computer is rebooted? Prompts that KX Device was not found Reinstall Drivers. After drivers are reinstalled it does great! Just curious Wayne
So...any luck fixing this problem or workaround to make it work....? same problem here. win7 x64 sb0350
In reference to SatTech/Wayne's question about having to reinstall the drivers every time the computer reboots, I am having the same problem too. Sound Blaster Live 5.1 CT4780 sound card, Windows 7 64 bit OS. However, I have been unable to resolve the problem and haven't seen a solution posted here.
