    Hey,

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong please.

    My 3DMark Score 1st attempt

Can someone give me a few pointers on how to get scores of 11000 and over.

Btw, my score is the one using the 6.13.10.3082 drivers posted on the Nvidia website.

    Thanks,

    Lads,

My score is the 9776 not the other one.

    That's why I posted this.

    I only see one.

PS. Make sure your AGP APERTURE is large enough, or you lose out badly during high texture update times (notably, near the end of car chase one, when the firing illuminates the road as you pass by)

128Mb seems to be the most a 2MX sensibly uses, but the better cards are reckoned to gain FPS from 256Mb if you have enough memory to justify it - it's not lost to normal use though!
It's a BIOS setting ONLY, not a software tweak.

We can't see your score. You have to post the link to YOUR score. (I imagine the 12k score belonged to someone else :/ ). To do this go to your project manager... find the project that you want us to see... open it... and take the "compare to" URL from there.

Your technical test scores all seem to be higher, but the GAME FPS is lower.

That sounds like your AGP performance is dragging it down - check the AGP aperture, enable fastwrites etc.

If I read your system right, you have a KT133A type chipset using SDRAM, and the comparison is a KT266 chipset using DDR.

    overclock your cpu :)

(the spec tests are actually rougher on the card than the cpu, and the games are more evenly balanced.)

Your score is about what it should be for your CPU speed! Run the highest FSB you possibly can and your score will increase quite a bit.

Here is a tip. a good percentage of 3Dmark's program is CPU based.
My 4600 in my P4 1.3 only scores 7580 (on a good day)
but i put the same card in a friends P4 2.53 and almost doubled the score. Both had clean OS's and new drivers and no tweaking.

Just goes to show that even tho the card may be bad-ass... some of it is the CPU...not always the GPU

Oops - sorry, misread the chipset - KT333 DDR.

But have you checked AGP aperture - too low (eg. 32, default on some) really cripples the perfomance during high texture change - though this may be less noticeable on a 128 Mb card

My AGP aperture is set to 256 as I have 768meg of PC2100 Crucial DDR ram.
I will try and mess around with the FSB & Voltages
