so, as I have seen 9600xt , I was hoping any of u could told what will be better by then, the 9600xt or the 9500pro, with both default clocks and OCed any benchmarks will be appreciated ^^
Well, the scores depends on the video settings, and also a videodriver takes part. So, my scores with Hercules 9500pro, P4 2400@2950MHz: - no OC ........... 3Dmark: 3750, Aquamark3: 31010 - OC 325/310 ... 3Dmark: 4260, Aquamark3: 34140 with Omega 2.4.78 hacked driver. Peter.
9600XT hands down. It has a higher clock speed with GPU and mem. The 9500PRO can not be unlocked to 8 pipelines so both only have 4-128bit. So then you look at what the clocks can reach. The memory on both can probably reach the same or close. But there is no way the 9500PRO could ever reach 500core. The 9600 has that possiblity. The 9600XT also has 256vs128. So you have memory advantage too.
what makes them think it will perform better, it still only has 4 pipelines i believe, but 9700 Pros arent too expensive anymore either.
Wow, I wonder how well that 9600tx will OC- I wonder if it will outperform an OC'd 9700p if they are both OC'd as far as they can go (average)?
I believed that new tech is better in terms of heat dissipation, efficiency and such. Stick to new cards. The XT series are targetted for high end gaming, didn't someone said that. It ought to be cheaper because of a lower model number. haha at least. :w00t:
