Well all I can say GO GO ATI as my Radeon 9700 is running SMOOTH!!!! (touch wood of course ..lol ) some of you may say that this is not a suprise but I was getting major problems with performance and this was due to smart gart and Fast writes. Now as many of you know Radeon's tend to dislike Fastwrites as do many MOBO's. I thought I'd disabled it ! I mean I had in bios but not properly in Smart Gart and that's why I was getting so many problems. Though I believe that this can only be fixed with certain drivers ie. Cat 2.3's and the original Cat 3's atleast that was the case for me :evil:
