    Hello folks!
I've been away for quite sometime as my desk top computer is in need of a monitor. At the time the A2ZSNB was not working very well with KX so much to my disappointment I went back to the dreaded Creative drivers. I'd love to be able to use KX again. Has anyone been using them to success with my card and OS? Which version?
    Thanks

    Toshiba Satellite, Pent. IV 3.0 / 2gig ram, Win2K

It appears that 3539 is what I should be using. Please respond.

For Win2K that is the proper version, but I can't comment about your notebook card as I don't have one. Did you search the forum? Seems I remember some threads about the A2ZSNB.......

    Îòâåò: A2ZSNB & Win2K Status

If i'm remember right, the 39 has already dropped W2K support (although a kind of patch exist for it - there's a thread about that somewhere here)
The latest kX version that "officially" supports W2K is some of the 38 family (i'm not sure which one - but not the last)

Regarding the A2ZSNB - well, it depends on what kX version you used those days and what "not working very well" states for. Newer kX versions improved some stuff around I/O mapping and its control (check out the changelogs for details), but if it's about "stability" - then no - nothing special was done about it (e.g. it's more like a matter of luck - if kX clicks/drops/scatters with your notebook then just give it up).

:sigh:Thanks. Yes I was the one that generated much of those inquiries awhile back. Very unstable, couldn't use effects, input was iffy.

I just checked and 3538m installs on Win2k SP4 but 3539 won't as Max M said, I just installed 2k on a system and was testing drivers with a SB0220 and these worked. Not going to help with your card tho'...... sorry.

You may try to update the OS, then you can use newer versions of kX.
