new strategy games take too much time and skill to familiarize myself with, im fine with blizzard and ea strategy games. but i did see the review and it seemed pretty good.

I really like those warcraft and C&C games so how's this game compare?
Is the single player has an excellent storyline like warcraft? Also how's the multiplayer?

Your recommendation of Warhammer 40,000 was right on the mark Allan, I enjoyed it immensely, sounds like this one will be a winner as well http://www.atari.com/actofwar/us/index.php
I am definitely going to check this one out as well, thanx for the great tip mate.

I have never been an RTS fan but this game is just incredible, kept me on my computer most of the day yesterday which is odd for a game, usually I play for like 30 minutes and thats it.

Does the amount you can view on the screen change any from the demo? The demo seemed like you only seen a very small part of the world at a time and caused for alot of panning to see what was going on.

Also how does the gameplay compare to Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War?

Well that depends on the res you are running it at, ive it at 1600x1200 and the play area is fine, you can also pan in and out.

How does it compare to DOW, well thats a tough one, DOW was an amazing RTS if disappointingly short so its a hard one to give a "better" answer. I love them both, I think this should be on everyones RTS shortlist.

Thanks I play at 1280x1024 but the demo didnt give the option to pan in/out.

Looks like i will be picking this one up soon.
