ADSL tweakun`

    Hay.

    I've just recently made the move to broadband and I've a speedtouch 310 USB modem, just wondered if anyone had any 1337 tools or tweak guides they could pass on...

    heh that XP manager is a bband tweaker? I will check it out now.

    I would say go here and test your connection and tcp/ip settings and it will tell you what needs to be changed. Then do it in that program you have like the MTU and etc.

    Its a UK ADSL website and there lots of serrious infomation to be found there, check out the forums. This is the place where you can find out stuff like when the TAT-14 pipe goes down lol.

    Speedguide even has a serious little tweaking tool that optimizes the most giving TCP settings. It can at least make websurfing noticeably faster on a broadband connection. As far as online gaming performance goes there simply is no magic that works, except for in-game settings like rate and packet settings of course.
