I heard McAfee updates quicker than Norton....and Symantic customer support sucks!!!!! No offece to the people working there really, but man I cannot understand their dialect. I think their all Hindu....seriously no offence to any folks of Hindu descent/origin. Super frustrating experiece!!!!

I've now moved to McAfee 7 Enterprise given to me as a gift yesterday from a guy who bought it with his office pc but doesn't want it.

Works out quite handy that as well saying as my McAfee Home subscription runs out tomorrow.

I use ZoneAlarm Security Suite version:5.5 + Microsoft Antispyware (beta) - with fresh definitions works great.
i have used before Norton internet security - it worked ok, but mine pc was way too slow... and AVP (Kaspersky anti-virus) - i just dont like it, but it works fine..

Norton pro 2k3 for me as well. Haven't had a virus in 3 years, but while I am careful my wife and daughter are not so savvy.

thats why you use firefox. no more IE loopholes :D

oh yeah, I use Mcaffee...cause it doesnt use a buttload of resources like Norton, and I install JUST a virus scanner or JUST a firewall. not an entire suite of stuff that I dont need.

I also use AVG on my laptop. My bro uses Avast cause so far its the only thing that'll run on winXP 64bit. Then again, how many viruses are made for 64bit at this point?

Well, don't laugh, but I use PC cillin 2002 (coz it came free with my mobo), that's when school's in session and my dad has the internet largely forbidden.

On the holidays though, I use different realeases of Norton depending on how much I want my rig slowed down.

Used to use TBWave (Thunder Byte anitvirus) a long time ago when the heuristic protection was in, but looking through all those flags gave me a headache pretty soon, and I decided to move on up.

Edit: Just realized I don't actually leave either of them with the RTS on, so I don't actually use them all the time, just on occasion to check things out.

SAV here, been using it for quite a while now.
Does the job and stays out of the way.

    Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition v9.02.1000

Adelphia's e-mail servers spew out the odd virus here and there, and with my g/f having here own e-mail, I need to run something...
Even though SAV does a very good job, I think it's bloated. I just reinstalled XP SP2 and I am just going to load up free AVG, I just use it to scan incoming POP emails, that's it.
No need to have all the Symantec crap running just for that.

Kaspersky Anti Virus - cause it works superb, low resources and a possibility to skip my hack files!
