If this is in the wrong forum please move it!

WOW! i have to say this web browser is A LOT better than IE in my opinion.. its just nicer, easier, faster, safer than IE...

    - It has lots of more options to tweak / change
    - it loads pages faster
    - For some reason the sites look bigger n better (no clue why)
    - it is A LOT safer than IE and it blocks popups and a lot of spyware, it doesent -let any bad thing in ur pc....
    - Has tabbed browsing
    - Great download managing

    at first i was like

I really don't see what is the big deal with Mozilla/Firefox. I have never had a problem with IE, so I do not see a reason to move over.

but after i read stuff in another forum about it and ive seen the popularity of it i had to try it and now i have to say im very glad i did try it cuz its amazing...

you guys should try it out! theres a bunch of great plugins for it too.. like this ADD blocker which is really great it will block certain images and sites...
so now when i go on IGN n gamespy i dont get a FREAKING ADD every other page :rofl: (btw i didint disable ads for dh :D SUPPORT DH click on adds :p)

i think who ever still has IE should check it out over at http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

    evil!

About time :p It is a great browser, also the add-ins are great :D I heard some flaw in all browsers with tabs that people can access information on inactive tabs but I'm not quite sure and I don't care! I love firefox too much to go back to IE..

One thing I don't really like is if you choose to open a download file, rather than save it to disk, the download won't work if you closed the browser.

Yeah it's great. I've been using it exclusively (till a couple weeks ago) since .6 or .7 of firebird. The adblock, tabbrowser extentions, all in one (or mouse) gestures, and the ieview extensions are all must haves. Right now, I'm absolutely hooked on the new betas of opera (v7.6 or v.8) but firefox is my second choice.

the only thing bad is its support for things like ACROBAT READER.. acrobat reader takes years to load up. its despicable.

Firefox is great. Nice, simple and not too modable but still a bit... Perfect for me!

Agreed! I love its simplicity, ease of use, and security. I haven't found a single piece of spyware since I started using it...no joke. Also I find this little tweak to be a must for any FF user. It made a HUGE difference for me.

Firefox is great. I love it. I like the extensions you can add on. I really like the spoofstick one. It tells what website your on for real. So like when paypal scams tell you to click on a link, it will tell you you are not really on paypal. Very cool. & there are themes out there that are pretty cool. There are a few things that bug me, but they are of no fault of firefox, only msn messenger and adobe golive, they by default open IE instead of Fire fox. In Go Live I added firefox to my browsers but it never opens from go live. But that's not from firefox, it's adobe's problem and microsofts problem.

    I LOVE FIREFOX![IMG]

I agree, FireFox is THE best browser to use for surfing the web. It's so easy to use, it has skins, extensions and a built in pop-up blocker. So it's easy to say why it's the best.[IMG]
