Any one with a Raptor I need help

    I just installed a raptor and randomly when I ask allot from it . For example installing games or running 3dmark it gives me the blue screen.. I ran it's diognostic utility and it keeps stoping right away and says Test Result: FAIL
    Test Error Code: 11-Cable Test::Read sector error!

    Also smart status says not availibel anyone know what I did wrong and why I keep getting the blue screen of death

    If the manufacturer diagnostics software report an error like that then you have a damaged drive and can send it back for a new one.

    Strange error message, what cables are you using??

    legacy and the sata cord that came with my new 939 motherboard

    ok if this isnt your OS disc. go into start/run/ type in "diskmgmt.msc", then do a long format of the drive, check the cable is in correctly as well. What power supply do you have?

    When I got the HD I did a long format. Though it didn't take very long. On the cord It is in there securelly. I bought the drive OEM and it didn't come with cables or a driver disk. I used the SATA plug that came with my abit av8 board. It came with two I tried the other one also. If that could have anything to do with it. Also I tried the diognostic tool through dos and it did the long test with no errors. After that I tried the windows diognistic version and it still gave me the same error. very strange :confused:

    Oh and Zardon it is my OS drive
