It seems my score this morning was pretty good. I'm 5th overall for 5900's and AMD's. I was not really overclocking and my GPU clock speeds were low. So Michelson, If you read this. If mine can do it then yours can do it. Keep that card.
I ran Aquamark in 1280x 1024 with FSAA on 4x and it was still pretty fast. The pic was incredable. There's nothing wrong with NVidia, or Detonator drivers. Not over here anyway.

I never was good at VB!!

What the above link was meant to read was this:

    44.67 DETS: I was scoring 24306

    51.75 DETS I was hitting 45229

    Not bad! :duh:

I shall now knock 3dmark on the noggin! We may be able to break into 18K bracket Driver 7! Just maybe...:hmm:

51.75 det drivers are not DirectX 9 compliant... when AquaMark is asking for 32bit floating point precision.. the det drivers are forcing the hardware into 16bit floating point precision... this however turns your DirectX 9 compliant card into a NON DirectX 9 compliant card... and therefor could be considered a cheat.

Good question.... all I changed from the default was the screen size to 1024 x 768 and turned on triple buffering...... I think we all need to set up the same in order to compare...:duh: :duh:

setting options does in no way affect the benchmark. just select the top choice "SELECT MEASUREMENT" and then there is only one choice for the free version and that is choice #1. Everyone has all of the same settings forced on them :)

    hey shuki,

Does using Nvhardpage or another reg tweaker effect your overall score in Aquamark3, or does Aquamark override them with its own settings?

so, you mean the 51.75 got so much boost because of this?? then what 'bout the previous one, 45.XX, are they not cheating??? does this mean that the 5900 is not capable of doing DX9 yet??

by the way, where did you read this from, i'm interested.....
