ATI Radeon Omega Drivers 2.5.51

    i followed adrian rojak's pot 9800pro to firegl bios mod and now the omega drivers do not work properly. i have a built by ATi 9800pro 128mb using the r350 core. the latest drivers install fine but when i try to run counterstrike in opengl mode i get an error saying that this "video mode is not supported" and it switches to software mode. d3d works fine and americas army plays fine under d3d. i tried both the regular opengl and fast opengl files but no go. this is an error with the drivers because the DNA 4.6 drivers install properly and opengl works fine. card is recognized as a firegl x2-256.

    just giving you the heads up, other than that great drivers man =P hope to see this fix implemented soon!

    Anyone know the Advanced SmartGart options won't work? how do i correct this? Also what is this temporal AA that some have been talking about? Where can i find it to see if it's enabled? Thanks for any help...:)

    Don't know what to tell you. I uninstalled all previous drivers and used the cleaner just to make sure. I then installed the Omega drivers, rebooted and Triple buffering was disabled by default. Not sure why or how. Btw, I got a 9600xt if that makes a difference.

    hmmm

    Great release Omega these rock! The OGL driver is great although I may repalce with the cat 3.7 driver as that's fast and doesn't have bugs in CoD. My tripple buffering option was also disabled by default.

    Have u actually tried the 4.7betas? I tested them yesterday. They are newer and 3dmark2003 performance is
    up for me. Definitely faster than 4.6 :)

    U should try them out! BTW when i installed new OMEGAS (as omegas rule), i was asked if i wanted to replace the newer file.
    So these drivers r definitely newer!!

    Yes I am also interested in TAA as I can't find it either - but I know radlinker installed cos it disabled my clock changes.

    Great work Omega !! can't wait to see what you've got up your sleeve for us... pro > xt pe softmod maybe.... :drool: if you're working together with ngo i can feel it comming :)

    Is it just me or is smartgart not working? Tried uninstalling and DCing it 2 times and nothing smartgart won't work. Is it turned off by the 4.6?

    Being a web designer myself, i must tell you that the new site is awesome. Great Job.

    And as usual the drivers are elite in everyway.

    One question, the panel appears to be the same, is it becuase its just real late and I am beyond tired, or am I mising something here.

    Yes, I'm aware of that. That's why I have converted it to a workstation. You are most likely referring to this guide.
    I have followed the entire guide, and I haven't had any difficulties with the other drivers AFAIR.

    Well. I make a .radlink of a game. Go on its properties. And set all my options. AA 4x. AF 8X. And such.

    But there is no possible way of turning on Temporal AA.

    My 64mb Mobility Radeon 9000 are at 249.75 core and 200 mem (may be out by .5).
