Best ancient game?

    Sierra is not still kicking, Vivendi keeps the Sierra name because it has a very nice history, shortly after they bought Sierra, vivendi canned everyone working there, thus in my eyes destroyed the sierra line, so in other words, sierra didn't release fear, vivendi did, just with the sierra name plastered on it.

    And that is actually the same place i last found betrayal at krondor, alt-tab is doing the world a service by still hosting that game.

    Now I remember... It must have been around 1984 or so that I played it, I think it was either a Commodore, or early IBM, I can't remember. But I remember it was good-

    Lode Runner.

    Have you tried the fan mission T2X? Shadows of the metal age:http://www.ttlg.com/shownews.asp?id=867 There is a download at fileplanet, it is also on some peer to peer networks. The forum tells you how to run it in XP. :D

    I have never played any of the final fantasy games, what exactly is the point of the game. I've seen the movie had nice gfx but I forgot everything else.
    So If you can give me a basic walkthrough ;).

    I have been trying to play through Evilution, finding all the secrets and playing the 2 secret levels for a week now. Still 9 levels of the 32 in this game alone to go! :drool:

    I think the old text version of Haunted House on a TRS-80 that bring back memories, also on PC I really had a lot of fun with the first hexen beyond heratic and also duke nukem.


    "BMX" I use to play lode runner too on my C-64 It had so many levels

    ahh yeh i totally agree, that was the best shooter at that time 1995 i think,
    also age of empires 1,
    those two games, kept me from sleeping and eating.

    I actually have an old Apple IIgs... I wonder if there are any classic games for that? I need to sell that thing.
