FDor some reason when I activate my Nview clone, to view TV out, the display on the TV sometimes appears black and white. This does not always happen, it seems to have something to do with resolution settings and so forth. Any suggesstions? Thanx Chris
usually, black and white shows when the output is set to the opposite device (say, output is composite when you're running an s-video cable) or, when output is set to ntsc-m when you have a pal tv hooked up. sometimes incorrect refresh rates do this, but i've never experienced it.
Black & White TV Out >>FIX<< Evening all. As the post before me suggested, make sure that your TV-OUT signal is in the correct format (PAL, NTSC, etc). The other thing to check is that if you are plugging the S-VIDEO lead into a SCART adapter, that the device actually supports S-VIDEO. If it doesn't, you will need an S-VIDEO <-> Composite converter. These are relatively cheap to either make or buy. (sometimes listed as S-VIDEO -> RCA adapter) Hope this helps. ~Jon
