    A couple I would recommend;

    Psychology - Zen And The Art of Motorcycle Maintainance (sorry can't remember the authors name!) and The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart

    General Fiction - Shantaram (Great book they're making a film of it with Johnny Depp in the lead role), The Shadow Of The Wind by Carlos Ruis Zafon - this is by far the best book I have read recently, this book wasn't written it was crafted, the authors use of language is just beautiful.

    anything by Kurt Vonnegut :)

    I've been reading all the Chuck Palahniuk I can lay my hands on as well recently (reading Haunted atm), I'd suggest you give Survivor a go, awesome read :)

    oh, another of my favourites, Evelyn Waugh.
    the Sword of Honour trilogy is absoluetly wonderous.
    (Put Out More Flags is satire a go-go lol)

    I only read "The Loved One" - a satire on Brits, Americans and the relations between them - and "A Handful of Dust" (just Brits this time). Great read.

    I'm currently reading "The New Lovecraft Circle." It's basically a bunch of writers inspired by H.P. Lovecraft who write their versions of the Cthulhu Mythos. I'd definitely recommend: The Call of Cthulhu, Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos, and Dreams of Terror and Death. Good stuff :cool:
