AMD Insight.de has done up a performance comparison of the newly released Catalyst 3.7 drivers: They tested Catalyst 3.0 ,3.1 , 3.2 , 3.3 , 3.4 , 3.5 and 3.6 against the 3.7 running on a Radeon 9700 Pro using 6 DirectX benchmarks 3D Mark 2001 SE / 2003, Comanche 4 Demo, UT 2003 Demo, Aquanox 2, Splinter Cell and 4 OpenGL benchmarks Quake 3, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Serious Sam 2 and MDK 2.

    All the benchmarks were done in 3 different modes: 0x Anti-Aliasing (AA) / 0x Anisotrope Filtering (AF), 2xAA / 16xAF and 4xAA / 16xAF.

excellent comparison, there is no point in staying with anything other than 3.7!

Major performance drop for me, from 5060 to 4081 after removal of omega 3.4's at stock speeds. A clean install was performed with the latest cab cleaner and driver cleaner. Driver was dl'ed from ATi's site.

You could've saved a lot of time if you just restored your system drive from an image file. Clean install takes too long!!:dead:
