Perhaps it has nothing to do with the drivers.

I was sure that the gamma problem would be fixed here, but it still excists :(
At least program name Gamma Panel can't change gamma with 4.2 and 4.3.
And at least for CS the Full Screen 3D section in Color section in CP doesn't affect.
To change gamma you need to go to the windows from the game and change desktop gamma and go back to game. That's the only way to change the gamma without powerstrip (which I've heard works with this gamma issue, but it's shareware).

I also tried that and faced the same problem.

Aquarmark3 score raised with 1k points so that's nice to see.
Otherwise seems to continue the good line of catalysts, so thanks for that part :)
There's all that I've noticed this far. ;)

Drivers are nice on the families Radeon 8500. I can't wait to go back to school Sunday and try them out on my Radeon 9700 Pro. ;)

Does anyone here play Final Fantasy XI?

Started with 4.2-4.3s whenever i start up PlayOnline Viewer, the screen tends to be laggy (really laggy) and the textures are a bit low rendered (looks as if were in 16-bit mode), now when i revert back to 4.1s everything works fine. Its just PlayOnline Viewer for me, all my other games works fine. (Deviance, CS 1.6, NFS: Underground)

    System Spec:
    AMD Athlon XP 3200+
    Abit NF7-S 2.0 (b21)
    Radeon 8500

Now i havent tested it with the 9800 Pro since its on a different rig with the same old drivers.

Hope theres a fix for this in future release.

    Thanks

    REPORTING PROBLEMS

Please remember.....any problems that you have that you feel are driver related........take the time to report them properly to ATI. This is VERY important. And yes......every report is looked at and sorted accordingly.

    Reporting Problems to ATI directly

But remember......if you need HELP.........then ask. The only dumb question is the one not asked. If you are a bit shy to post.....then PLEASE PM one of the staff members here on DH. We will help anyway we can.

    Thanks!!:D
