    I had that problem after installing NGO's 5.13's. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it.

    In another thread on here somebody said it was an issue with the new version of Driver Cleaner...

    funny, that they realesed a codec pack then 2 days later released another,,,
    noticed a mistake in thier pack me thinks, blameing it on ATI = easy scape
    goat me thinks...

    or are they blameing "driver cleaner"?

    i cannot hear anything from wmp.no sound. videos were also not working but fixed via reinstalling wmp.

    sounds (any format) still messed up.

    Odd that I have that problem, but I don't know if it was the Driver Cleaner thing or actually 6.1.

    My video quality is messed and I have no sound

    I also have this problem - before installing Cat 6.1 & MMC 9.13 I unistall Cat 5.13 & MMC 9.08.
    than use DriverCleaner Pro 1.3

    anybody know how to solve problem?

    DirectX reinstall - how? I deleted quartz.dll - no reinstall, copy from Dec 2005 Redist - but problem stay.

    Oh, that's really great ... it was more a performance gain or some bug fixing I expected from ATI instead of messing up my codecs. :bleh:

    Thanx anyway for the info! :) Luckily, I couldn't experience any problems so far: MP3 playback works fine as always and I don't watch so many video stuff ... maybe some users'll be exceptional, or not? :tears:
