cod2 dedicated windows files

    anyone have any lonks to dedicated windows server files to setup on server system
    only links i can find is linux dedicated files
    help

    As far as I know there is no Windows dedicated server files. At least, I've never seen anything for it before. Only dedicated server files I've ever seen are for Linux.

    One thing you can do is run a dedicated server from a command line switch, as well as run a game using the same files at the same time. Reason being is that the dedicated server doesn't use a CDKey to run. Or, you can install COD2 on another machine, and run the dedicated server using the command line switches (for the same reason), and simply join that server.

    Take a look at THIS page here for more. This will show you how to created a dedicated server config file, and the very bottom of the post, how to call that file.

    cheers for that
    one of the guys is setting up a server for us,but he doesnt have the game
