Most of these tweaks can be done with Xteq System's Xsetup.

    LINK

Hundreds and hundreds of easy tweak toggles with descriptions and recommendations, I highly recommend it.

lol Think about it for a moment....Your paging file is for, when you run out of ram!

Careful with xteq ppl its very powerful & can reduce ppl to tears....do a backup first! its also my fav tweaking tool

hehehe....putting a paging file in ram...

although, the way that XP works, it WOULD help, considering XP pages to it even when it doesn't need to...which is buggin me, I want conservative swap file usage!

    Re: dfg

Can you not force to use ram in xteq...its not an option I use haven't got enough, i think its called disable paging of kernel or something along those lines?

Yeah, it's just a registry setting, disablepagingexecutive and largesystemcache...but it still pages regardless, just not as much as default. Man...in Win98se, I could enable conservativeswapfileusage and NEVER use my paging file...mmmm...

Heh...oops...wasn't quite thinking...would there be any other uses to the ram drive? I'm using it currently for the cache of my browser. It just makes some of the uses difficult since the ram erases itself on each reboot. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks.
