Hey guys, I'm running an HTPC with an Auzentech X-Fi Home Theater HD which is working quite well, except for one issue. Whenever I reset/shut down my PC, the console switches from Entertainment mode back to Game mode and negates all my setting to make the card work with my stereo. It's not a huge deal to fix everything upon start up, but it is a bit of an annoyance. Does anyone know of a way to make my settings stick?

    Thanks

There's several threads with regards to this already so best use the search function in future ;)

Anyway you need to setup your settings (like you have been doing) and put your computer into Hibernation. Turn your system back on and then turn your system off. Turn on and your settings will be stored.

Will this issue every be fixed to work without having to put the computer to sleep?
