    Hi, I intend to build a music PC around an audigy 2 platinum, kx, and my existing bi-amp-able (+ stereo subwoofer) audio setup. I have two questions;

    (1) Will the crossover within Kx allow me to route the signals for each stereo driver pair to a different output on the audigy

    (2) Does the crossover within Kx affect the phase of the signals?

    Thanks.

    (1) yes, alternatively you can use 2 xover-plugins with overlapping bands
    (2) yes, like any xover.

    i thought that the strength of digital crossovers such as kx and Behringer DCX2496 was that the phase of the signals was minimally affected?

    Is there a capacity within kx to realign / delay signals after the output then?

    If you use the 4th order crossover, the outputs should be in phase.

    I am running 2 monitors and one 18" sub using a audigy 2 and it stomps!The kx drivers allow you to use seperate outputs on the card for the monitors and the sub. Bass redirection allows you to send any freq under (your chosen freq) to the sub, for example i have myne set at 80hz so anything below 80hz goes the the sub and anything above goes to the monitors. you can also set the phase to reverse. its a mother to set up but VERY worth it, my thanks go out to the designers!!!
