Nappylady, I think you should start a new topic on this subject. We could (in the new topic) make a list of possible "topics" to be explained and ask for cadidates to write "how-to's" to those topics. We would them unite all that info and ask Eugene to include it in the website and make "sticky" posts for them. This way nobody has a lot of work and all the work is done. If you think this is a good idea, please start the new topic on it and I'll also help with "topics" and answers.

    Hi LeMury!

To break the rule (no, I have no problems yet!) I want to tell you that I´m very happy with your "Src" and "k2lt" and "asio" - plugins and that your idea to write them was a good idea and a very good way to help many users out there (if they want to use your help anyhow...). So I´m very thankful to you and I only want that you know that. Please don´t give up with coding ´cause anyone could need you anytime... :D Isn´t this a nice feeling??

    Cheers now!

    TravelRec. :)

Uh,..I think you interpreted my post wrong TravelRec.
    (thanks for the 'flowers' though..:))

I was thinking out loud on how to evaluate the outcome of these 'experimental'
test plugins I released, so I can decide which plugs are usefull and which are to be dismissed.
    Nothing more.

    Ooooh,

I thought a little bit to far, but maybe I read your post not carefully enough; so forget it now ;) . And don´t care about the flowers (hope they will stay for a while...), sometimes this must be!

    CU next time again!

    Hello To Everybody!

I've just tested the k1lt_v10_Asio.zip, and both plug-ins works fine on my ct 4832 card.
Lemury do you think it will be useful to have an Eplg (4 tabs) which can handle asio too?
Another thing, the src plug-in is WONDERFUL!:)

    Bye

    LeMury,

In case you are wondering, there are many shy musicians out here waiting for the next release of your programming efforts. Like you said in an earlier post, you only tend to hear when things go wrong. We appreciate the work.

    Thanks,
    Doug

    mAlo,
    >>I mean the ability to select in the combos of the Eplt even the asio outputs

I see Well, the 'Eplg' which I released in this thread allready does that.
But the design problem with having selectable ASIO channels in a 4x2 config,
is that *unused* asio channels have to be *muted* to "empty" the asio buffers with zeros.
This waistes ~14 extra dsp instructions, and ~2 gprs!
So we loose some of the resource saving advantage,
and it is not possable to load more then 1 'Eplg' because of this asio *muting* feature.
    (read my correspondance with Travelrec)

So from a 'resource saving' point of view, there was no profit and I decided to
make the 'Asio' plugin instead, wich offers all asio channels at the same resource "price".

    To conlude;
    Almost everything is possable.
I could, for example write one single Asio channel pair plugin wich uses only 2 instr. and 2 gprs.
This would be great for saving resources if you only have to record to 1 asio channel pair.
But I'm afraid that releasing such plugins would confuse kX users who have little kX DSP knowledge
thereby raising the nr of "how to" questions in general.

Feel free to ask any questions, suggestions etc.
That is what this thread is meant for.

    /LeMury

    Do something similar, please:D

I'm agree with you, but I do not see why an unexperinced user would have to use similar
    plug-ins

Thanks a lot for your patience!
    And for your being here:)

    Re: Avaibility ?

    Preliminary versions of Src, k1lt, k2lt and Asio are bundled with the latest 3536c dev. release;

Sry, there are no downloads for 3535 anymore since they got bundled with 3536c driver release.
