This is news to me ^_-

How I found out is I was at school doing an independent study to build a HiDef projector using an overhead projector, then specialize the use of it for my grandma to read text since her eyes have been bad since a lazer eye surgery. I had just found the last of the parts I was needing and decided to check my email. I saw "Driverheave Competition" and thought they just announced the winners, opened it up and got in trouble for yelling "Holy . . . !". Then my teacher laughed and told me it was spam, I then reminded her that it was me (she knows I'm a tech junky). She fell silent :rofl:

You will indeed be seeing some . . . now if I could only find space in my room. I think I'll have to modify my entertainment center.

The TV could probably fit if I hacked out the spots for my CD's . . . but I bet it's too tall. I'm now also planning on getting a 360 for it, anyone know how well the 360 does IVTC and Progressive on DVDs? Also where's the cheapest place to get a premium anymore?

sometimes i feel like we're all little kids in middle school again. and Z is the annoyed teacher when it comes to competitions. someday i wonder if his patience will give way, snap, and give us all detention over these things. we did much better this time around. but remember the threads-a-blazin' over the last big comp.? some pretty heated stuff. if memory serves me right Z actually had to delete some posts due to graphic/hateful nature. proud of us for sucking it up and taking it like grown men/women and congratulating the winners. Hey guys, just a question. I watch a lot of 4:3 material and play games often . . . should I be worried for the safety of the plasma?

 

You just need to worry about how long constant items staying on the screen. So try to limit such things that do not move. It's also a good idea to turn it off whenever possible. Also be careful of stations with banners, and bright station identification markers. Honestly if you just mix it up a lot the plasma should be fine. One last thing when the screen saver kicks in don't worry about the ghosting it's supposed to do that.

I play alot of games on my plasma without any problems.
