Good guide, I prefer DVD Shrink, though.

Heh, you newb. :D DVD Shrink is better, free, has no warning screens and uses better compression.

You are all n00bs. I'll put up a more advanced guide using DVD shrink and THE advanced guide using IFO edit.

    cookie!

and yes..i am lazy. I use the quickest easiest way possible so long as it produces acceptable results(DVD-X-Copy is barely acceptable on dual layer discs, but it's alright i suppose) But yes..do write an advanced guide, as I'd be interested in learning some new apps :)

Wow I'm surprised it even works with DL's!

You guys should also try AnyDVD as it allows you to tweak a number of things.

IFOedit is nice, and all but you can only strip so much out of a DVD. I just go by the 2 HOUR rule (1.5 or less for audio/subtitles) for SL's, and anything longer requires DL.
