Hello, I would like first to thank the DH ZP team for their very nice drivers but I'm having some troubles with the installation of the two latest driver sets. In fact, just after the installation, my computer crash and I get a blue screen in which it's told me that there is a problem with nv4_mini.sys . I only get this with 84.43 and 84.66 versions. 84.25 are just installing fine. I don't think there is a problem with the way I install them (unistall old drivers => reboot safe mode + driver cleaner PE => reboot, instalation of new set and a last reboot) I have never got this problems with other tweaked drivers or nVidia officals. I tried to install them in safe mode, it works but, after I reboot, I have straightaway a crash and blue screen. I have a 6800 PCI-E card running on Intel 3.6 Ghz with 2 Go DDR2. Thanks in advance for your advices.
So are we gonna "see" these fixes anytime soon or should we just give up and wait for another releases?
Hmm I just Install these drivers and at first it looked normal, but but after updating a few features such as puting V sync on and removing the taskbar icon i hit apply as allways. But then I went to check some otherthings and then I couldnt get my Graphic card to show!!!??! I took a screenshot ill mail it PoopytheJ
I have this exact same problem. Win 2000 sp 4 1 CPU - AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+, 2.01 GHz, L1: 64KB L2: 512KB Asus K8N motherboard Memory: 1GB (2x 512MB DDR PC3200) nVidia GeForce 6800GT Logitech MX310 (Mouseware 9.79) Realtek AC'97 Audio (Realtek 5.10.0.5740)
those drivers aren't that great, the SLI notice is rather anoying and I can't even shut down the nvidia thing in the tray without using msconfig
There isn't any SLi notice in 91.33 and later... Besides no one wil force you to use them. However those that would like to don't even have an option because there ain't any drivers. I've made my own DHz clone of drivers using config from 84.66 but it's just copy&paste so i don't even know what entries are valid and which aren't. Thats why it would be nice if DH team creates them proper way.
New set coming soon we have a new author helping us out on the nv side, knyz formerly of spirit drivers, who was a huge influence in our decision to start creatinig modified drivers to begin with. Due to a lot of time constraints development and support have taken a hiot and we apologize for that however things have stabilized and the new set is undergoing extensive beta testing now. We're hoping for a release within a week. All of the issues which have been brought up are being addressed and I promise you guys won't be disappointed.
Cool, thanks man, I really appriciate what ya'll do Using a GO card there arn't many options for updated drivers, I enjoy the ZP drivers and hope you continue updating them for as long as you can.
Oh please do hurry! I'm so excited I can hardly contain refreshing the site at least once an hour for news on the new release!!!! As the previous poster stated, I too use a GO card and can't wait!
I have been using the latest DHZeropiont 8466 drivers with months now and I must say they are the best out there. I have tried a few other drivers including the latest NVidia drivers and none of the others come close to the performance and picture quality I get from the DHZeropoint drivers. They are simply the best. The Drivers make my card look like a beast of a card and like something like a 7900 but O pnly have an XFX 6800 GS XXX Which i cant get my hands on another one to use for SLI:bleh: Cant wait for your next release.
Not sure if this kind of thing will help, but it appears that any driver modded with the laptopvideo2go's modified Inf offers the NV4_mini error, where it reports that the IRQ_not_less_or_equal error. I had to do some testing for myself, to see if maybe it was just that one driver (the 8466), however... to my dissatisfaction, it's just the laptopvideo2go's version of the .inf. Oddly, it only affects my card for the 8466, though I'd imagine you've been using it for longer than that? So maybe it's just a recent change in their inf modifications. Anyways, I use a GeForce GO 6600 256mb. Assuming that helps any! Keep up the good work, and seriously looking forward to the next driver release! (be a 9x!) haha. Oh, and... if you would like me to try out a beta driver, I'd be more than willing to see if it'd crash up my laptop! lol
