I just tried to upgrade from an older version and got a BSOD on the CCC part of the install.
Prior to this I had uninstalled the older ones, tried to install the new ones got BSOD, then cleaned things up, installed older ones (.65) successfully. Then, I tring to install new ones and the driver portion installed successfully. The CCC then BSOD.

I have an ACER 8204 ATI X1600 Mobility

    Thanks
    K

    Robert,

Here is what is currently running. This is obviously the .65 release. It installs fine and I have no problems coming out of Hibernation (which the latest did , BSOD, babe, LOL )

Also I installed MSFT debugging to analyze the Mini Dump Files. and typically if came up ati2mtag.sys as culprit (well at least it thinks that is it). If you need anything else, just buzz me. IM handle now attached to profile.

By the way DHzeropoint drivers are nice. This is the first time I have had issues. Oh I also Have the latest version of DriverCleaner.

sonicDivx, did you try redownloading the driver package? If it's just crashing on the CCC install, maybe the installer files were corrupted.

Okay, so it sounds like you can get these drivers installed just fine, so I don't know why Robert asked you for your Device ID....
But, to answer your question... well, I can't. The tweaks in these drivers really cannot be explained/disclosed to the public since they are the "product" of the beta testing/hard work done by Blackboost and the rest of the team. If DHzp drivers work for you and fix whatever problems stock gave you, that's awesome, and I hope that that will continue. Sorry, again.

I'll redownload. and give it a try. FYI, I did try the latest ATI mobility and they too were unstable.

Well it may be a day or two before I can try the re-download (this being my work computer). I'll report my findings then.

Do I have to remove previous DHZer0point drivers (.65) prior to installing the newer ones?

    Thanks.
I meant newer as newer than .65 (ie .69, this.). It might be old for you, but I've found these to be the best driver for the video card I have. So, as far as my question goes.... do you know if I have to remove the previous DHZP driver?
