Digital vibrance for ati?

    does ati have Digital vibrance ? i use geforce for many years, but since last week i use radeon card. i need Digital vibrance. does ati have it or not?

    do ati not have somethink like that for radeon cards???

    Nope, would be nice though. The best you can do is use the Color Panel to adjust the settings.

    As far as i know, they will not have it.

    Its an ongoing debate between users if they should carry it. Myself, I hate DV. Makes everything look fake and too contrasty. Most newer monitors have the 3 option for brightness (net, games, dvd,) these days, in which i find do a better job anyhoo. So for me, that would be the best bet. I believe letting the monitor do the work to improve the colour quality more than the card it self is a better way if u want such an option.

    or in the 'color' tab on the control panel, can't you create profiles and such yourself...or am i missing the idea behind "Digital Vibrance" :shrug:

    Well, I think it's pretty cool...at least to have the option to use it. I've been using Radeons since the original and after using a 5900 for a couple of months I did miss it going back to the 9800. Also my bro, who doesn't even know how to install a game immediately noticed the difference. You can come close with the color panel but it’s not the same-to my eyes at least. A tiny little bit of DV is great in my opinion but not all of us think the same;)

    does someone know what how dv work exactly? i got a 19 " monitor. on it i can set my color from 5000k to 10000k if i set it higher. my colors are nicer. does it the same like dv? i mean my monitor :>

    lol at powerstrip i find a option "boost color vibrance"
