This article is an extreme oversimplification. If someone wants to send me a chart to put in this article, I’ll update."

    I'm rather excited to see what mantle and directx12 can finally do.... I already knew about the lighting being a pretty critical thing.

    It'll be a while before they can go "all in" with this, just like it was a long time before DX9 support (the highest XP could do) became irrelevant.

    dx9 still isn't irrelevant unfortunately... for as old as dx 9 is.... there are still a buttload of games that even with high support.. continue to latch onto dx9 by default.
