that was referring to the filtering or texture quality seperation problem.

Regarding the pink surfaces with AA, for some reason I can no longer reproduce this in the stress test? But it happened on both my comptuer and a friends when we did clean installs of your driver and ran the CS: Source stress test. I started up HL2 single player and started playing and in the middle of the map switched AA on and no pink surfaces appeared. I then ran the stress test again and no pink surfaces apeared anymore, don't know the problem behind it. But the game looks perfect now so I am rather happy.

thos pink shaders your getting in stress test are due to changing your aa or af settings in your cs source control panel. its a current bug with cs source and not the drivers. :)

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth

I don't know if anyone has reported this yet, but it just started happening after I installed
these drivers for my BFG Tech 6800GT OC. The drivers run beautifully on everything I have tried so far, with one annoying little occurence.

When playing LOTR:BFME, when you summon the Balrog, the blazing fire that comes up from below ground around where he spawns causes the screen to go completely black except for a small corner in the upper left and the black area flashes tiny pink, green and blue dots, very small ones spread out randomly. Moving away from the flames around the Balrog spawning results in the game coming back full screen, but moving back to the Balrog causes it to go black again until the fiery area around the spawn disappears. The game runs fine again until you make the Balrog breathe fire and then the same thing happens again until it finishes the act. Then all returns to normal again. It occurs once again when the Balrog's timer is up and the same flames that spawned him claim him back to the ground. As soon as the flames dissappear along with the Balrog, the game resumes to full screen and all is well again. Weird Huh? lol.

    Other than that, nice drivers.
    :D

That has to do with the Zeropoint drivers over-riding the Antialiasing for BFME. If you set AA to application controlled, this won't happen.

i do not think having that enabled by default is a good idea. some games do have problems with conflicting settings. jmo.

I may drop AA off of the list for the next build ;)

And as for the LoTR bug, I'm currently lookign into that, actually. It's difficult for me though, as I don't have the game...but I have several things to try :)

why not change the bat file from

    del uharc.exe
    del unpack.bat
    to
    del uharc.exe
    setup.exe
    del unpack.bat

ps. where did you get the newer version of uharc?
