Is it possible that if you installed many drivers (4.3.4.4 etc and older) before unistalling the old one that the performce of a videocard would decrase?

my preference is to use a single driver only.when ever i update drivers i use driver cleaner in between each install.

to me it just reduces the risk of problems that could occur.but all systems differ greatly so what could work best for one will not work to well for others.

Installing over, and over, and over...

Been installing over the drivers in the laptop below, as a for instance, using the Omegadriver versions exclusively since before the Catalysts were released with no gaming speed degradation at all - I haven't counted exactly, but I know it has been at least 12 driversets one right over the other.

No doubt part of the key to this working has to do with the installer knowing what files to delete/overwrite - and being able to this accurately - and updating registry keys properly.
