Hopefully You have a tonne of bottle cap mines saved up. If so they'll do nicely.
duno if 4 bottlecap mines, 40 normal mines, 30 grenades and a lame run shooting play style will do it >.> running NW now.
well i went out and got the game and love it..very fun game
If you injure there legs and have a ton of shotgun shells it could be possible. Otherwise it will take 10-15 frag mines for each one.
the deathclaws are lethal! though a combat shotgun or plasma rifle helps
ahh dogmeat, i remember him from the first game! need to find him again
anyone find Dukov yet?...what's up with the guy?...I went into his house and chatted with him and his lady friends and nothing happened...is there a quest that is available with him?...how do I get the quest?
Except for "rescuing" one of the girls I haven't had anything pop up in there either, even with a black widow perked female character. So he's just a useless playboy. And he wasn't so tough either; I once had a Mirelurk following me through the door and it ate Dukov for lunch.

Dukov is part of another quest which gets started in the Underworld with the ghouls. I won't say more.
I tried finding old olney but i ended up killing some drifter and headed to Oasis to do the quest there instead. What enemies are at old olney anyway? I assume it's those big beasts (yao guai) in packs?
Dogmeat can be helpful, but most of the times in combat situations, im too worried about him dieing, because every npc goes after him first. I am 7 hours in, and have accomplished next to nothing, damn you exploration!
Anyone knows how soon the creatures in an area respawn?
I think I read somewhere that enemies don't respawn.
I found Oasis (by accident) And let me tell you i walked around that mountain like 3 times before i found the path.
Although I have no idea what I am suppose to do in the area with the Mirelurk King.
EDIT: Found out I was going in the exit instead of the entrance. durrrrr.
Level 10 now with new character and haven't received a single bad karma
So I did not read the thread other than the first page...
Is this game worth buying!?!?!?!?
Of course it is
Pretty much it is and i hope bethesda will release SDK so this game could be immortal
There's a patch just released at Fallout: Welcome to the Official Site.
ive tried being evil but at lvl 12 now i still appear to be a goodie. it appears that 100s of little bad karmas (killing, stealing 1000s) can't even compare to 1 good deed from a quest.
