What's yours? It can be for the period around the end of the year, if you hate Christmas for some reason. My favorite Christmas movie is End of Days with Arnold Schwarzenegger. It has perfect amounts of action, comedy, drama, loss of hope, faith, redemption, nudity, horror, etc. Reviewers hated it back then, but they are morons so, Merry Christmas! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0146675/
A Christmas Story Best Christmas movie ever. Runner ups: Scrooged Home Alone It's a Wonderful Life National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Plus the old faithful's: Miracle on 34th Street (original) The Santa Clause series A Christmas Carol (1951 version) Holiday Inn White Christmas There are a bunch of series we watch at this time of year though too: LOTR trilogy Hobbit trilogy Star Wars series Harry Potter series Die Hard series Alien series (1-3 only) All the MCU movies Lethal Weapon series Not as religious as I once was, but back in the day we used to watch these too: The Ten Commandments (Heston version) Ben-Hur (Heston version) King of Kings The Greatest Story Ever Told
For Me: Not in any particular order. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Die Hard (only This one the ones that followed up could not match it) Home Alone + 2
I can never narrow down to one when it comes to favourite movies but my curent go to for a Christmas Eve movie is the Jim Carrey animated version of A Christmas Carol. That story is the best Christmas message movie IMO and I can watch pretty much any version of it from the Patrick Stewart version to the Bill Murray Scrooged version. Other great Christmas movies - The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe 2005 It's a Wonderful Life Miracle on 34th Street Gremlins New Year Movie - The Secret Garden 1993
My favorite movie is Love Actually (2003). I recently watched it again. The script had already been forgotten over time, but when I reviewed it, I remembered almost everything. The film is very enjoyable. It tells us that love does not depend on status, on age, maybe to the same sex, maybe not reciprocal, maybe "for work", maybe in different languages. But it is all-consuming, creative, and without it there is no meaning in life. I would like to mention the role of Hugh Grant, I remember her the most in this film. And also pity Harry's husband, who was deceived. But ... life is life, and everything is shown in the film, so diverse, really occurs in reality, often evoking emotions "cannot be".
Just want to point out for the future Hugh Grant is a him not a her and Harry is also a bloke its his wife Karen you feel sorry for As for the rest yup I have to agree this is a film that shows all the iterations of love Obsessive love, Unrequited love, Betrayal love, Secret Love etc we watch this film every year its probably our favourite Christmas movie.
The movie called "Home Alone" really made me cry. The story is really great with a satisfying ending.

Anyone else possibly thinking Olivia11 is a actually a very sophisticated bot ? Cant think of any other reason for copying and pasting the same post in the same thread a few weeks apart
TBH the posts in the what are you listening to right now also stand out I’m listening to my favorite song In the air tonight – Judith Hill. It’s the soundtrack from the series "Little fires everywhere". I just love this song. When I hear it, I immediately relax, disconnect from the outside world........ I don't know how it works, before that no soundtrack from the movie or series affected me like that. Sometimes I want to watch this series again just because there is this song. and I’m listening to the soundtrack from the series "Big Little Lie". Cold Little Heart - Michael Kiwanuka. I just love this song. When I hear it, I immediately relax, disconnect from the outside world and are morally transported to the coast of Australia. I don't know how it works, before that no soundtrack from the movie or series affected me like that. Sometimes I want to watch this series again just because every series starts with this song. Im calling Bot but TBH one of the best I have seen
