Well, come Monday the server is off to it's new home (it's been reformated already). That means 4 processors less for processing. I highly doubt I'll be climbing any higher on the list. Infact, I think I'll be sliding backwards ever so slowly down it.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.

I just found out that the Folding@Home stats site FahStats can do "subteams". The way it works is that the folding names of those on the subteam must have as part of their folding name, the name of the subteam in square brackets - in our case [DH]
As we can't move points from any team/subteam/folding name, for those that don't have [DH] in their folding name would need a new folding name (and 0 points). Their existing folding name with its points will still be part of the ATI team in any case.
I'm not sure if other stats sites will start supporting that format for subteams, but that seems to be the way to go.

So for me, I'll be starting to folding under [DH]-Peter123 (not a big deal for me as I only have completed a few WUs under DH_Peter123).

    Here are the stats links:
    ATI Team showing subteams
DH subteam list (those that are already using the [DH] subteam name as part of their folding name)

Anyway, my suggestion is to adjust the official format for folding names in our subteam to follow [DH]-FoldingName format.
This looks like a great way to see how our subteam is doing and can only help for adding new members to our subteam!

X1900? Where? I see "collectors edition" X800 in Zardon's announcement...
I don't think I'm going to change my folding name just to show up in some subteam stats list.

Remove the "[]" characters from the "Member name contains" field.

Wonder what affect hundreds of thousands of computers running with 100% CPU and GPU load has on energy use and global warming LMAO. PS3's and PC's can be thirsty beasts, they can also increase the temperature of a room causing your air-con to run harder. Oh the decisions.

I'm in as DH-Yousaif. I've been folding for quite some time and would prefer not to have to start over with a different username just to get the [ and the ] on either side.

Hope you can make the exception.

*edit* Hey guys, maybe this time we can more people to keep folding. Its for a really good cause. After the last contest we went from 95 active down to only 37 active. Its not like you can use your computer 24/7, right? So you might as well have it doing something useful.

It works just fine with the screen down. Just go into the power settings for your laptop and change what you want it to do when you close the lid. I have mine set to just turn off the display. All other functions continue.

Um.. mike.. you can run multiple instances of the client on different machines using the same name. In this case, you just entered twice. Bad boy (this coming from someone who did the same thing, btw.. by accident though... honest.. it was an accident). :D

Just remember to use the exact same name along with the exact same team number for each client you setup. Anytime a client finishes folding it will upload, and the points will get tallied together under the same name/team.

Yep... hence the "Bad boy (this coming from someone who did the same thing, btw.. by accident though... honest.. it was an accident)" bit. :D It was an accident when I was setting up the client on a machine for burn-in. It was running over the weekend at my store, and once it finished a couple WUs I noticed that I had mistyped my name. DH_Tipstaf instead of DH_Tipstaff. Embarrassing to say the least.
