If your into pinball..... If you like pinball and are annoyed that arcades generally don't have them anymore and your jonesing for a silverball fix, here are some sites to get you back to the glory days of pinball.....on your PC! Visual Pinball is a great freeware pinball editing tool that uses Visual Basic to script the tables. There are many 'real-world' tables emulated already (just about all of them) to download and enjoy. Many even utilize MAME (called VPinMAME) to emulate the dot-matrix display and sounds of many of the more modern tables. The ball physics are top-notch compared to most of the commercially available pinball games in stores. If you are talented in Visual Basic, you can even create your own, or improve upon the tables already out there. Check it all out, there are multitudes of links to Visual Pinball euphoria through these sites. http://www.randydavis.com/vp/ http://www.vpforums.com/vptables/ http://www.pinmame.com/ http://irpinball.ztnet.com/ http://www.shivasite.com/ And the two most popular forums to help you get it all going (it can be a little daunting to get started at first) and to keep up on the latest table releases: http://www.vpforums.com/ http://www.vpfreeforums.com/ I personally have over 500 of the best tables in MY collection and adding new ones all the time. Best of all, IT'S FREE! You've got nothing to lose! Registration (it's free) may be required to gain full access to some of the above sites.
On my own site you can find a limited amount of freeware , trying to keep it clear with the best only. http://www.gpure.tk
