Lol, lol. Sure. It is not like could not sleep but not needed. Thanks!
Thank you, will look it up more over the weekend!
I assume all these games can be played on PC, I am not interested in XBox etc.
Yes, it would be English version for sure.
It is a bit late but I really should start working on my English.
Wow, thank you so much for making the list with links.
Will sure explore it.
What a variety.....
Thank you. Will check them out. Wow, so many different games....
I wanted to let you know that you might want to get a gamepad/controller for when you play games, it might come in handy. They come in all kinds of colors, I would recommend an Xbox One Controller (yes they are compatible with PC, just plug and play, you can also download a little app to remap buttons especially if you get the Elite controller). And remember, get an original Microsoft one, don't go and cheap out. You can also use them wirelessly if you want.
Yes, all are PC games.
The good thing about the PC I find is that games on PC can be found very cheap, especially through sales and the like. Steam for example (a PC games client you'll definitely need) frequently has all sorts of sales.
Other game clients you'll need are Uplay (for Ubisoft games), Epic Store, Origin (for Electronic Arts games) and Battle.net (for Activision and Blizzard games). All can be downloaded for free. And if you want to play mutliplayer, you'll definitely need Discord to chat with other people as you play.
Another client I didn't mention was the Rockstar Games Launcher, not because you can't use it, you can it's just that I'm not sure you'll like any of their games. Get in the habit of watching game reviews, my go to is Gameranx on Youtube:
As usual Calliers forgot GOG.com
They are DRM -free so that you never have to worry about server connection to download the games on your drives, or install your games, ever. As long as you download them at least once of course.
Also they have an optional client, called Galaxy, if you are one of those people who feel the need for holding your hand at every step. I have never used it, but it works and people like it.
Also GOG support is amazing.
Yes, them too.
Thank you for the hint! I still have a long way before I start games but good to know.
Thank you, so much out there. When the time comes I will revisit this reply but for now will watch read game reviews and pay more attention to game related things. It could be come my new 'hobby' one day just that lack of time sucks....
Thank you! Will check all after done finalizing my build and setting it all up.
Portal? I know it's not particularly new... but it is a game that can pull you in
Yes, this is an excellent recommendation, Portal 2 as well.
Actually that is what I really meant, It's been so long since I played anything that I totally forgot that I was hooked on Portal 2... not even sure if I played the first one. LOL
Thank you, missed your response. Will check it out.
Calliers, totally of the topic in this reply.... sorry.
How do I set up my preferences so I do not miss a reply?
I have alerts but they stay on only for a limited time and then gone.
When I go to "my content" I see all my replies and it is hard to see if I did not miss anything without reading the last posts from the tread.
How do I do that? Thanks!
The way I stay on top of things is just look at all the new posts. Your own threads and threads you respond to will have your image on it.
And once you have skimmed through, just use the "mark forums read" like at the top to clear everything.
Thank you. Will try that.
I would like to share two things today...
The "new Threads" method to stay updated with forum was a golden advice, works like a charm. Thank you @GB
Games area; since it seems that my new PC is pretty much set, I will be now exploring all choices you gentlemen posted here. Thank you again!
