You're welcome and np.
My advice, do a search for "best non-violent pc games". You will get a lot of good recommendations.
The Talos Principle, Rime, Abzu, Journey, The Witness, Firewatch are just a few.
NP... I've been using the forums this way for years... Most of the time I just skim the topics to see if anything catches my eye. Especially after a few days away when there are many pages of new stuff (mostly news items)
Thank you! Will check it out.
Yes, I am there most of the times daily and just skim the post, answer if interested and mark all other posts read.
Also, while there are games with minor combat, their focus isn't combat. Games like No Man's Sky and Subnautica (and the new Subnautica: Below Zero) are more about exploration with a bit of survival combat.
Edit: Not sure if you are into space sims (No Man's Sky is part space sim), but Elite Dangerous would be a top choice (make sure to get the full package, the CMDR Deluxe edition that includes the Horizons addon, otherwise you miss out on a lot of things, like some ships, planetary landings, and a few others). There is combat in it, but it's mostly optional. I've got a good 320 hrs in the game, and I have done very little ship to ship combat (I'm literally 36% into second rank: mostly harmless). It's been mostly exploration, trading, scanning, courier, and passenger runs. And I play in Solo mode too, so I've got zero interaction with other players.
Right now the entire package that includes Elite Dangerous, ED: Horizons, and the Commander's Pack is on sale for $15 US on Steam until April 3rd
Thank you for chipping in.
I do not mind a little combat as long as game is good.
I will check out Elite Dangerous.
I have been very busy with my work from home setup and work itself, I did not have time to explore too much but I sure will and pick something.
I just need to explore as I do not want to spend money and let it sit later on.
I do not want to make a new thread so I will post in threads I was active...
I had a heart attack.. was in hospital, now at home but need to wear this defibrialtor vest for 2-3 months and later maybe internal one depends how much heart improves or not.....
Just wanted some of you know as we have been talking quite a bit.
So sorry to see you have had a bad health issue...
I hope You will take care in due course with a good recovery, Especially in the current times of Coronaviras..
Thank you. Will try the best I can....
That's too bad.
I also hope you will recover to full health soon.
I think I like The talos Principle....
Any comments where to buy, what I need etc., etc.?
It's on Steam for sale at 43.99 Canadian, should be cheaper in the States, though I'd wait for a sale. It was going for free not too long ago I believe.
I have played that one its a game of 2 halves, the first 30 level;s or so are fun and challenging at the same time, after that its pretty much just challenging, it IS a very good game though.
OK thank you. How do I play? Are there any instructions etc.? I have no idea on anything lol, lol. Do I need a controller? Or keyboard would do?
controller or keyboard are both ok, essentially its a big puzzle solving game, some of them use light refraction so you move lenses around the map to guide the light to a destination, this is over simplifying it a lot though its a really fun game ... until it isn't
Thank you , will investigate.
"...until it isn't" ....?????? Care to explain?
About 30 levels in it suddenly got obscurely difficult and after 3 or 4 more levels i left it unfinished and never returned ... until then though it was great
Separate names with a comma.
