Is Corsair XMS series any good? I am thinking of buying some DDR ram soon.
Can't go wrong with Corsair, Crucial, or Kingston.
You'll find that pretty much everybody agrees on the fact that Corsair is hot shit when it comes to memory.
Mushkin and Samsung are also supposed to be good makes.
Personally I use Crucial, and I can jack my FSB from 133 to 162 stable (but then, I've also epoxeyd heatspreakers, heat shinks and active cooling to the buggers )
go with sammy
yes, can I just say that I have great experiences with Kingmax DDR2700 as well... I know its not classed as the top brand, but I have had extremely good reliability with this company. I bought three 512 meg DDR2700 chips from them months ago for my rig and its overclocked well and been just as reliable.
