will this greatly improve performance in games like Arma3?
and what else might i need to upgrade to achieve this?
or maybe there are other suggestions that help.Im new to pc tech.

2x 7750's in crossfire under perfect conditions would give you about 2/3rds of the performance of a single 660TI..

So obviously the move up would be a nice improvement... specially when crossfire doesn't work because a single 7750 will only give 1/3rd obviously.

Since you are already using a AMD/ATI Card.... what's in the same price bracket as the 660TI?... Maybe a 7850/7870 or if you have a few dollars to burn...7950 would be more to your liking.

BTW a 7850 is a good direct competator to the 660TI... and a 7870 wins over the 660ti.

if you are willing to consider the amd/ati alternative i mentioned.... i'd highly recommend sticking to a Sapphire branded version.

If you want to compare an AMD equivalent to the 660Ti, then you will need to compare it to a 7870 Tahiti LE based GPU like PowerColor's 7870 Myst Edition or Sapphire's 7870 XT. These cards can be found on NewEgg.

Having recently had a 660TI and a 7850..... they are pretty much matched identically... Of course both of which are the newest versions, so none of the original reference models/designs.

In numerous tests including some new games... like farcry and tombraider for example... using fraps for a point of reference.. both played pretty much identically...

    My experience.
