Can anyone give me any pointers as to how to get PHP running on my system?
I would like to test the PHP-Nuke...

What do I need, and what do I have to do?
I've downloaded the newest ver. of PHP, Apache server, PHP-Nuke...

    I'm a bit lost! :D

Assuming that you can install Apache

Have you followed the instructions found in the the install.txt included in your PHP?
If not, then I highly suggest that you download the large .ZIP file for PHP Win32 instead of the self installer. It's found in there.

I run Apache 2.0.40 and PHP 4.2.3 and MySQL 3.23.xx on my WinXP for my development, with Testing under Linux and Windows 2000. I dont have any problems what so ever with PHP + Apache in WinXP.

The OS doesn't matter that much because both are stable to run Apache, MySQL and PHP, but barf... I just find that Apache seems nicer with a 'nix (be it FreeBSD, Linux or unix). Sorta like Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich. It just fits better together than lets say a Peanut butter and cheeze whiz sandwich. It's more a taste thing than usability and reliability issue. hehehe :D
