    Yeah you read it correctly.

I just got my noew stuff today and even before i did i clean install it booted into windows xp that was originaly a AMD/nF2 setup....

I couldnt believe that it actually booted into windows without a crash an started to install drivers etc.

    weird huh ?

Well i started out to play and this is what i have so far:

    At a fsb of...you sitting down?....291...off course A-sync (2/3) with my memory underclocked @ 392

i got the mazing for a outta the box speed of 3.495 mhz.

Dont forget this was before my fresh install that i havent played with yet and im only on air cooling(slk-800u)

    Btw my voltages are at

    vcore 1.75
    ram now at 2.7
    ..................................................................................................
now i just did my first bench with 3dmark2k1 at alower fsb and at 5/4 divider @ 270 (ram is at 216)

but i want to start to push my ram to see how high it will go at this devider before i go to 1/1 wher i will lose mhz but may gain better system performance.

here is my 270 fsb score

Mind you my top was 18.300 with the amd setup

Nice overclock man. I've been pricing the IC7 and the 2.4C..... I've been considering it..... But I'm thinking about holding out for the the FX..... considering it's better than the P4 3200 in most ways...

Yet again, nice overclock. Um, what fan do you have on that slk800?

The fan is just an adjustable enermax 80mm running at 3200 rpm (not noisy at all)

Oh update now at 5/4 divider running cpu at 285 (3415 mhz)

    and ram at 228.

Vcore at 1.75 and temp at 38 idle and while running 3dm at around 41

man on the Epox 8rga+ i couldnt even boot into windows at that ram speed and im sure it can go at least to 235-240 cause its rock stable running bemches for about 2 hours now and not one freeze or crash.

Also my 3dmark scres are now at 3dm2k3=5920 and 2k1= 19430

hehe not bad for a 9700pro non modded.

still more tweaking to do.....but i recomend this setup to anyone looking for mhz's..........vroom...and at cheap price considering what a 3.2 gig costs.
