Buddy are you sure you bios isnt locked and NOt letting you OC ??

Have you tried flashing the bios ??

The reason i say this is that i had a similar problem at the beggining where the card would get artifacts at the slightest OC (from 325 core to 350 or the ram from 310 to 330) and this until i went to a warp2 bios.

Are some built by ATI retail cards locked? I have got a problem w/ artifacts in only certain benchmarks, like 2k3 test 2 and 3. But the thing is stable as hell no matter how high I push it- (as far as I dare)-- I'm wondering if that is the case /w my card- and how can I find out?

I wish it was- then at least I would know what the problem is.. I'm starting to think it's my bios. It OC's very high, and is stable, I just get artifacts in some benchmarks and games- just the little black dots, not the huge triangular patterns. It's like 64 degrees F in here right now- I know it isn't heat. I am going to flash my bios w/ a better one after I research it and figure out how to do it, w/o messing anything up.

i killed my last board lol with a god dam giant 2 TT cooler....
now it sits on my table as a decoration in my room heheh.......

also shim is removed also think i have to much Artic silver on the gpu :p
i couldnt be assed removeing the Artic silver3 and i stuck some Artic silver cerimique on top of the gpu that already had artic silver 3 on it lol i just did a littke mixing hehe

anyway im to scared to remove the thermal compound from the gpu im frightened i might snap of a resistor pin or something or the thermal stuff may go all over the pins and what a nightmare that would do to the card if i tryed to remove the stuff...

snap pin removed dead card ect :/
