Has anyone noticed recently how anti nvidia The inquirer is ? Charlie Deminijiran especially seems to publish almost everything against nvidia, and daily there are anti nvidia posts which seem to be based quite often NOT on truth.

I mean look at this one today.

Nvidia dumps five partners - The INQUIRER (published by the girl who sat behind an Nvidia PR rep at an event and reported on what he was typing on the screen (she was looking over his shoulder spying), appalling standards imo)

"These are the latest partners to abandon ship after Gainward and XFX took the plunge this summer and EVGA told Nvidia it wanted an open relationship."

XFX are still making and selling Nvidia based hardware!

I've definitely noticed, as have most the readers of The Tech Report. heh

I was never a fan of the Inquirer, but it's not that difficult to understand why.

So is Gainward. If you go to their site you will see current products from Nvidia on there.

Gainward was bought up by Palit almost 3 years ago, and while you haven't seen Gainward products in North America for a long time they still sell in Europe. Palit (previously only known for the Nvidia based OpenGL Quadro cards) and Gainward sell both ATI and Nvidia cards now which before they were both Nvidia only. That's all that has changed for them.

As for the story about Foxconn they are not getting out of the game exactly. Foxconn did sell their own branded cards at one time, but rather than keep doing that they decided to stick with what they have done for years, and that is to make everyone elses cards. Foxconn either makes the cards for manufactuers, or makes the PCBs that a lot of manufacturers use to build their cards. XFX, BFG, Leadtek, Evga.. not all their cards are built by Foxconn, but a large majority of them are.

the site is filled with AMD ads... not that AMD is supply hate or anything, its the Inquirer loving AMD for paying for advertising space
